Protect Your 3 Gates

Be mindful of what you allow through your gates.
Protect Your Eye Gates
What we repeatedly watch and expose ourselves to leaves an imprint. Movies, television, social media and the content we consume can influence our thoughts, emotions and inner state. Some content carries dark, negative or low-vibrational themes that can pull our attention toward fear, lust, anger, violence, comparison or negativity. Not everything deserves access to your mind. Choose carefully what you allow your eyes to dwell upon.
Protect Your Ear Gates
Words, music, conversations and messages can influence our thoughts and inner world. What we continually listen to can affect our mood, mindset and what we focus on. Music or conversations centred around negativity, hatred, violence, degradation or destructive behaviours can tune our minds toward those same patterns. Be discerning about what you listen to and whose voices you give authority to.
Protect Your Mouth Gate
Our words carry weight. They can encourage or discourage, heal or wound, bring peace or create division. What we continually speak also reinforces what we focus on within ourselves. Speak with intention, truth and love.
Our body is a sacred temple, and our eyes, ears and mouth are like gates into and out of that temple. What we continually consume can shape our thoughts, attitudes, desires and ultimately our actions.
Tuning Your Frequency
Think of it like tuning a frequency. What we repeatedly give our attention to can influence what our minds become tuned into. Be conscious of whether the things you watch, hear and participate in are drawing you toward peace, love, truth and goodness—or continually feeding fear, anger, lust, division and negativity.
Not everything needs to be watched.
Not everything needs to be listened to.
Not everything needs to be spoken.
Guard what enters you, and be intentional about what comes out of you.
"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." — Proverbs 4:23
Protect your gates.
Guard your heart.
Be discerning about what you give access to your mind, body and spirit.
See no evil. Hear no evil. Speak no evil.
Hope it inspires you.
Peace, Love and Blessings
